Yes. I got the story directly from someone who dealt with it. It was a fellow pilot who ratted them out. The chiefs hands were tied. They had to deal with it. Otherwise it would have gone undetected.

i doubt anyone will get fired for that. Its pretty hard to get fired as it is, just look at some of the stuff people have done. However, im not saying go buck wild. I just wonder why there is this mentality that everyone is risking their job for xx?

It would be way easier to just tell ol' boy to send you maybe 30% of what he got paid for the trip. Keeps the chief's office out of it. 🙂

Had a MCO captain ( now retired) that called the pilot and said he wanted 100 percent of what he lost out on or he was going to turn the pilot into the company. Can’t make this stuff up , we have some cra cra here .

I had many of cpt tell me they were upset of people bidding straight and taking "thier" premium trip.
I can't imagine the stress people have who are living well above their means.
Had a guy tell me he thinks he needs his wife to get a job because he can't pay his $30k/month bills.
