Window still Open??
FWIW, It appears that the window may still be open. From the SWA dashboard, you can still find the job available under Flight Operations. Clicking on the job sends you to the info page with the Apply Now link at the bottom, which still takes you to the page to start your profile off social media or with a resume.

Last week...
I attended about 18 months prior to my availability date and was glad I did. It gave me time to work on my weak areas. I then attended another seminar for free to top off. Disclosure, I'm not a SWA pilot and never interviewed there.

Guys…
Can anyone give some insight as to the un-written rule for age?
I'm a brand new 57 year old with commensurate experience (e.g. 2500 hours in 737-800's etc) but wondering if I'm "out of my league" age wise.
Have any of the new hire classes as of late had older guys/gals in them?
Thanks!
Kap

So, putting the cart way before the horse, but what the heck, I got nothing else to do... Based on info put out at WAI, all interviews will be conducted in May and classes will start the first week in Sept and run through Christmas. How have they filled classes in the past (for someone without availability issues)? First in, first out? Age? SSN?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Maybe someone could correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can gather, I'm pretty sure it is tied to date of interview. So I'd jump on the first interview date offered if you want an earlier class..
