How long is it been taking Southwest to check references after the interview?

I doubt anyone knows that but the HR and hiring folks. Most guys are saying that over half of their interview groups are getting the nod...maybe 60-70 percent, but that is just a wag. The dynamic and economics of pilot hiring have greatly changed here and the interview team and chief pilots that are doing the decision boards are strongly aware of that. This isn't 2008. I would bet these early rounds especially you are going to see a large majority of interviews getting hired.

My references (employers & internals) were called within two days post interview. Also, received a link for 10 year background check from company (Sterling) on behalf of SWA. Interviewed June 2. Waiting on DB still.

When are the DBs?
Thought it wasn't until next week.

I was surprised as well. I'm guessing they finished up with the first round of CJOs and wanted to start working ahead on the people who interviewed close to the first DB cutoff.

Ouch. Just got the TBNT email. Interviewed may 27th.

Pride is hurt, but I have a good job now, and other options ahead.

Sorry. That's awful, especially after you've waited all this time. It sounds like you have a great attitude about it.

Is there anything in the interview that you worried about after? Anything that concerned you or did you walk out of the interview feeling great about it.

Sorry again, but there's plenty of great jobs out there!

I was too nervous during the interview. I knew I didn't nail it.
