-Yes indeed old Gomer! But not you, or Justdoin' or I, -for reasons that just a while ago I touched upon in apparently too arcane and diplomatic of terms....Alas...perhaps old Smokey is only guilty of the use of ambiguous pronouns...or perhaps a mild case of mono-megalomaniacal pedantry against even the remotest possibility of a slight against his kitty-killing, koolaid craving corporate culture.

Edit: I like how Wiggy said it better!

To hear your version, it's as if the ATL will be soon be staffed with a bunch of SWA imports, while the original ATN folks are given the bum's rush out of ATL? Maybe I missed it, but who are you hearing that from?
It's my understanding that once it has been realigned to SWA's planned staffing, there will simply be too many ground ops people for not enough positions at the ATL station, hence the reduced headcount and offers for employment at other SWA stations. Again, I don't know where you're hearing about some mass influx of SWA employees pushing out the ATN employees.
I don't know what more I can add beyond 1) Make sure you have your facts straight before going off on such a tirade; or 2) Posting while drunk is seldom a good idea.

2) All of what you said might be true to some degree, maybe not but the fact still remains that SWA brought in their own people to run things in ATL while they could've transitioned some of the AirTran ATL people. So yes, some of the AirTran folks are being pushed out.....not the SWA employees.
3) Facts are facts and opinions are opinions, no matter which way you look at it bro. Lastly, I don't drink buddy

If you want a few more "facts", how about the fact that every month the same thing is happening in MCO to the pilots - except in reverse. RSW's being squeezed out of the domicile they've held for years, with little chance of getting back in for the foreseeable future.

Law of unintended consequences. It was ratified by 83% of both sides. What did you think would happen when you took all of the AAI Captain seats? More coming.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just convert some/most of the ATL guys on the AirTran side who are already there? Instead of bringing in SWA people and push out the ones who have run that place to the best of its ability? Yes it is good that they are being offered other options but at the same time, it's pretty sh**ty to be somewhere and run a beautiful operation and then get told "hey, you're going to have to move somewhere else to keep a job". Of course, none of this has happened to any of the SWA employees and I doubt that it ever will. Whether its necessary or not, it seems like another example of: 1) Pooping on the new guys to make room for your own guys. 2) This deal is WAY over SWA's head. I'm not surprised in the least.
