If I wanted to work for the blazer/hat Nazis....I would have. We’re not flying Clippers around the world. Also not commanding a aircraft carrier. I could give a **** what the $49 fare shoppers think of my attire. Nobody buys a airline ticket based on the uniform of the employees.

So it either runs true to size or runs big depending on who you ask? So if L is 42 and XL is 44 and I wear a 43, I should buy the L?

depends, are you big in the middle or not. The arms are long because it's a ski jacket. It fits well if you dont have a belly. If your a 43 and without a belly go large. If not maybe xl. I'm a 42 and lift weights without a belly and a L fits good.

it's not very warm so some people wear a puffy under it. I wish we could just wear the puffy jacket.
Now I’m covered in a thick layer of fat, but honestly I think the Karbon without the under layer is plenty warm for just about anything pilots usually do for weather in the lower 48.

I'd also add that the current version of the Karbon is way warmer than the original one. With the original, you probably need the puffy layer, but with the current one, I've never felt the need.

Just my two cents -

The Karbon jacket fits perfectly . . . . . if you have narrow-ish shoulders and an over weight-ish torso. If your body is shaped something other than Weeble-ish, pick a different Company approved jacket.

yep. Narrow in the shoulders, wide at the belly in my opinion. My biggest complaint is the arms are way too long. It’s built for apes. It’s the only jacket I have though. Stuffs in the suitcase easily. Warm enough. I have the little puffy coat too, but almost never bring it.
