Probably be just hanging around the house wearing jammies. This might not be the time to buy new pants.

And the hat? Give me a break.
The whole "I am a professional pilot and demand respect" thing is eye rolling cringey. Sorry guys, but it just is. In today's world, at least in the US, that just doesn't work anymore.
I am all for maintaining a professional, clean, neat appearance. I am also all about being comfortable in the Boeing torture chamber for 8-10 hours a day. I choose comfort over tradition any day.
A nice, comfortable pair of slacks, a comfortable blended button down shirt, some loafers or other nice shoes. Once again, part 91 professional aviation leads the way.
part 91 professional aviation? that oxymoron you just said is a joke, right?

Are you saying it’s impossible to look professional and be comfortable the same time? Why don’t you just advocate for a hoodie with sidebars with this attitude.

Maybe next time actually read what I said.
It's definitely possible to look professional and be comfortable. That's what I am advocating. The "pilot uniform" as we know it today is a dated joke.
And yes, Part 91 professional aviation. It exists. Look it up.

Ok, so do people like the Karbon jacket or not? This thread went a whole lot of sideways.

I like it better than other options we have because its lighter, I never wear the bars or name plate so I can wear it out and about incognito style as well as commute/DH in it.
it's not very warm so some people wear a puffy under it. I wish we could just wear the puffy jacket.

The Karbon is decent. Warm enough to do a walkaround in, versatile and lightweight.

The only downside is occasionally being mistaken for a valet or bellhop when you're out front waiting for the shuttle.

Its plenty warm. I wear it all the time in DEN and it’s my spring ski jacket.
