Hang in there. This is an evolving process. The hiring folks are trying to get away from the pay to play job fairs and this is their interim solution. Yes, the execution could have been much better, but I suspect that they didn't expect the web traffic they got and they are working with Pilotcredentials, a second party vendor.
There will be more and I suspect a better system to register.

I was fuming mad earlier this afternoon after (once again) not getting a slot; now, after a nice dinner with the 'fam and long talk with the wife, things don't seem quite so bleak.
I still love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's made possible everything I have and I can honestly say it's the one thing I've ever been any good at.
I'll keep updating my app and playing the game and who knows? Maybe at some point they'll make a grave mistake and call me in for an interview.
In the meantime, congrats to all of you who got slots. I wish you the very best.

Lessons Learned:
I was on within 10 seconds of the window opening. When it did, I only had two windows open, one each for the AM and PM slot. I got on and was in line with around 230 ahead of me. I watched the number drop over each 15 second count down. When I got the sold out message with 24 left in the room, I thought "well that sucks!" and thought it was over.
About 10 minutes later I went back in and hit refresh and saw the AM slots back open. I opened 15 windows and watched them all count down to the Sold Out message. I'll bet I saw at least 20-25 "Sold Out" messages.
Then it happened, instead of Sold Out, I got a Registration page. This was after 30 more minutes of closing and reopening pages. The only thing I can think of is that SWA had people screening each registration and opening up maybe 50 seats at a time after the seats were confirmed.
How else would people still be getting seats 5-6 hours after the event opened up?
Thoughts?

I went through the same process as everyone else. Just refreshing and refreshing from 0730ish until about 1330 until I got frustrated and disappointed. Then someone mentioned it appeared they were going in "batches." It seemed like a crazy system that would keep saying "No Tickets" and the afternoon was "Sold Out" but then you'd look 30 secs later and it was NOT "Sold Out." It was crazy and I finally got so tired of watching the ^%^*& countdown clock I just backed out of the window and clicked on Register, more out of frustration than anything else, because I knew the afternoon slots were almost assuredly sold out and all of a sudden it pops up with a ticket! Craziest thing in the world.

Keep it all in perspective, people. Lebowski has nailed it on the head.

For those that missed out, I Kept trying after it was sold out. The window opened again and some how secured a spot.
I also was lucky enough to go to the last one in September....At that event they made it seem like everyone would get a call for a interview if you had the qualifications. With Over 8000 TT all 121 with 6000 PIC Jet. Many that I know attended never received a call.
What are they looking for ? Thats the question.
