Obviously we need to let JW, CM, HK and the BOD vet this. However, at this point I am a yes vote unless something glaring arises in the vetting process. If that does happen I doubt it will be sent to us as a TA. I have full confidence that the NC is very much in touch with what is realistic.

I'm not sure why everyone is freaking out on Pprune. This AIP has final pay $5.00/HR higher than DAL's company offer. Sure it's $9.00/HR less than the platform but the platform was always a target, not a floor. Will DAL get a higher rate than us? I'm sure they will but that's theoretical right now. It's hard to tell a mediator "I know the company is offering us the highest 737 pay on record but I know Delta will get more so we want more." Throw in a 15% B fund and 100% retro, with the constraints of the missing 2012 raise, and I think the NC did great.

That's my opinion. I respect others opinions.
Not sure exactly what your final rate is but here are the current Delta table rates based on 16.5% raise and 3% on 1 Jan 16.
254 now and 261.50 on 1 Jan 17 with a 16% DC.

Is the $80 tfp a separate rate they negotiated? I don't see how it would come to that based on the proposed %increases.

For me section 1 is most important. Doesn't matter how much I make if there is no growth.

Way to go southwest . My only concern would be iron clad language re code share and " we will codeshare on new routes, and if pax traffic = a certain threshold , southwest must fly that route " we had similar language at AA years ago regarding Eagle... Now we have a ton of rj's still flying those routes and many more... Slippery slope ... Good luck

It's separate. They knew they had to compete in year one to attract quality candidates. Also raising the turbine PIC requirement to 5000 and former 121 experience over 55,000 lbs, (ok kidding about that last part... But the $80'is real)

So do you think that retro pay for new hires brought onboard since the ammendable date will factor in this alleged $80TFP?

I'm of the understanding that the platform was a goal not a floor. SWAPA got...

$280/HR final pay or 97% of the platform and above DAL's company offer.
15% B fund or 94% of the platform.
100% retro with the limits imposed by the previous NC. They hosed us on that.

I'm not sure how this is concessionary. You never get 100% in negotiations. Throw tomatoes if you want but I commend the NC.

15% B fund and the first year pay is a game changer for me as a mil lurker on the outside. Puts SW back on the list of big boy table employers for me. Just some data fodder for the market survey people. Now back to watching the show. Good luck to y'all.
