I got the invite late last night. Military, 2230TT, AV-8B then mostly C-12, ASO, Ops, NATOPS. I was at the April fair in the morning. I thought I was going to have to apply again, I applied in January and at WAI prior to this.

Just got the invite last night and couldn't be more excited about this amazing opportunity.
Tempering my excitement just a bit , however, is the fact that I don't now a single pilot at Southwest. My career has led me off on some pretty weird tangents post-911: I never had the chance to fly Part 121, and my connections are all in the corporate/fractional side of the biz.
Wondering if anybody can offer up any insights as to just how important internal pilot recommendations are.
My stats, for what they're worth:
8800 TT, 3200 TPIC, 2 types, chief pilot experience, bachelor of arts.
This is the fourth requisition I've applied for.

Did you select the CP box? I was a CP but not of 10 or more as the questions asks.

The interview can make or break you. If they want to hire you based on the interview then you will get hired assuming no skeletons. If they don’t want to hire you based on the interview you are not likely to be hired regardless of recommendations. About the only time recommendations matter one way or the other post interview is for those that are on the fence and I would bet not many sit on that fence.
It is what it is but IMO there is nothing to fret about. Just be yourself and if it is right it will work out,
