I don't think anyone in my interview group had one...

So that either means having one would help you stand out ... or it's not that important anymore.

Helpful, I know.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten invites in the last couple of days. Since I recently interviewed I thought I'd repost what I put on the Who's Been Hired thread since this thread is specific to Southwest. Hope it helps and if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I highly recommend Centerline Interview Consulting especially for your app review which is the first major hurdle in getting an interview invite. They found things on my app I had overlooked the last couple of years and really helped clean up my application and resume. They were also very helpful in getting me ready for the interview. Their approach in helping me organize my thoughts made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire interview process.

I feel humbled and blessed with the opportunity, good luck to everyone.

That's a heck of a lot of flight time part 91!! I was only getting 300-400 hours a year when I was flying part 91 for a Fortune 500. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions about how the transition from corporate to 121 goes. Good luck on your interview!

I'm sure you'll do great. Nobody has better customer service TMAAT stories than corporate guys! I heard Humana and Yum were both closing their flight departments. Not sure if either of those are yours. Goes to show you that nobody is safe in this business. Both of those departments have been around for decades.

exactly on the customer service stories, i even created a team in order to improve our customer experience. along with a full day presentation and workshop to our department to get the "buy-in" from others. and yes on the YUM part. pretty unfortunate and for many reasons nothing to do with the team we had. just say that activist investors are someone you never want to see join the board.
