I'm going to the WAI job fair this year and was wondering what proper dress code for meeting with the recruiters were. I know the event is business casual, but what about meeting up with SWA?

Where did you get the 640 number? When I interviewed in early January we were told 550. I like your number better...

7 year FO here. Latest I heard at AQP training last month was that SWA hiring is currently limited by the capacity of our current, older training facilities. As many are aware, we are currently building a brand new simulator and training facility at our HQ in Dallas.

While I don't exactly how much more capacity this will add, I was told it will add "significantly" more capacity for new hires and future growth.

Based on these facts, along with our current record financial strength as a company, I would believe the larger hiring numbers, 700+ will be easily attainable. Regardless, Rocky is a great guy and always a straight shooter based on the information he is given from his superiors.

Good luck to all who want to fly for SWA!
