I was in training with J.W., DTW CP. We had several discussions on how to improve the training program. He has some very good ideas. I think he would be extremely beneficial to the training department just from hanging out with him. He's a good guy. My Uncle worked with him at Eagle for two decades and has nothing but good things to say about him.

1st 2 weeks of 10 hr days with 1 day off in between. Then 9 CSI (Systems Integration) with days off varying. Sched change quite a bit due to same reasons flights are cancelled, lack of instructors and big demand on schedule. 4 FTD and 4 Sims with a checkride.

I flew with him about 2 months ago. He was a really nice guy. He is a very smart guy. He was basically in charge of switching Eagle from the old way of training to AQP. He will be an asset for our training department, especially if Spirit will let it get switched over to AQP.

After going through everything and getting to SIMs, is 4 sim session enough to say "you're signed off" or is there a little struggle till the last sim? Just curious

We were employees on day 1 although on training pay. We were in cass after the 1st week and several people took the risk and went home during a 3 day break. Doesn't mean it didn't suck and was the worst training I have been through. Maybe they changed it in the last few months.
