IAJETCAPT, do you really think they'll have the same cancellation problem at the start of June? what would make that happen other than an intentional work slowage by the pilots?

It's pretty simple man, more open flight time than pilots to cover it. Most open trips are 3-4 day trips so even if people wanted to pick them up it will most likely conflict with their current schedule.

How many more new join, first post, management stooges are going to keep posting?! Good lord, one would think they have something better to do, like actually running an airline....

AllOva736, thanks for your reply

Tranquility, I am no stooge; I am genuinely new to this and trying to understand what is going on

So am I right in understanding that management is starting the month with more open time than pilots can handle which resulted in the high level of cancellations? Why would this be a problem that first occurred at the start of May and then will repeat at the start of June? I would think would think that they would not let this problem repeat itself if that narrative is true? Unless they are bad at their job. Or are they just assuming that the threat of legal action will compel pilots to work an excessive amount of overtime?

Hmm, sounds an awful lot like that Antanov guy. Similiar writing style at least.

Management and their attorneys creating new screen names over and over to troll or bait you guys on the message boards means you're winning.

Ignore these fools and stand strong. Nobody can force you to work on a day off. Let management solve their own problems! Put your phone on do not disturb on days off!

I'm guessing you are a management troll. No pilot would be stupid enough to post what you just posted after the injunction. Remember all that "evidence" they had from APC. If you are a pilot then I would advise you delete that post and have your head checked for stupidity.

No, not a management troll. Pilot for another airline (non alpa) that wants to see you guys win. They are welcome to try and come after me, lol.

But thanks for the baseless attack…

There are only two people that can force you to fly on your day off, your CO and or XO.
A judge is neither.
Sorry for the post, i just wanted to see how many i had!

Sorry, what transition?

I have to say I don't understand how a judge can even touch this. It should be the company's job to staff an airline with reserves.
Hold strong dudes. You're winning. Any money lost now will be returned with a solid contract over time.
I don't work for spirit so any lawyer reading this can lmb
