Depending which hotel you’re at you’ll have a mini fridge/sink/microwave.

I picked up a Brita type water pitcher on the cheap and it saved me from having to lug cases of water.

Make sure to bring a good six to twelve pack cooler for the pool.

I second that motion. Maybe a pool lounger. My brain was more receptive to memorizing limitations, memory items, and systems info with beer in hand while on a pool lounger.

I just know I looked forward to the days off from the craziness. We work hard during this training and we don’t get to go home like other airlines do. We had a collective group of people, spanning several classes, who liked to unwind at the pool with a few brewskis.

We had a single day off in the middle of CSIs, and I went ahead and rented a car so our study group could go down to Miami Beach for a day to decompress. It is good to do that, provided you have been putting in the work all along and are not behind.

What happens on day one at the other building vs the training center at the airport?

Meet some of the department heads, maybe a big wig or two. Drink the Kool-Aid. Tour the dispatch and scheduling center. Basically the same Day 1 as anywhere lol

You will also get your badge at the end of Day 1.

Congrats. Hope to be behind you.

Seems like there has been some confusion to what to study and where to find it. Is that not well explained on “day one”?

If you have time, keep us prospective applicants updated......plz....

Thanks,

D~

It's all explained in your welcome packet that you'll get a few weeks prior to showing up with what you need to study and the associated reading materials. If you handled NATOPS or a Dash One in your previous life, you will be just fine.
