If the NC didn't think this would pass, it wouldn't be going out for a vote. When the spouses of many captains find out they're going to get $50k-$74k bonuses and will be making $200k+ a year, expect a lot of yes votes despite the rhetoric. That's a nicer house, a funded retirement, a child's education paid for, a spouse that can now stay home with the kids, etc. It's serious and for some a life changing amount of money. Maybe saying No will yield more quickly, but if you're wrong, well at least you can puff out your chest...

That says a little something right there about their integrity.

Yep. New hire pay is just another reason. How about we make a place better for those behind us instead of having them suffer just because we did. Haven’t gotten to the insurance section yet. Are we still making new hires wait for it?

I'm voting yes to lock in some important gains that make my family more financially secure. Sorry not sorry you'll be getting rescheduled more.

Union guys don't care about this. they don't fly, they'll take their 70,000 bonus, and their pay rates and do 100+ hours credit doing "union activities" not flying the line like the rest of us. so what do they care about scheduling/rescheduling? They'll sell us down the river, since they aren't "us"
