I am not ok. We knew this pay scale was coming. They lost me at Scope. Better but not there. Still reading 25 but it’s pretty bad. We expected concessions there but not this.

Hourly pay from block in to block out or actual time which ever is grater on on a DUTY PERIOD BY DUTY PERIOD basis.
This is current book and many call it trip averaging which is not a correct term because trip averaging is something different
Point being it’s not block or better on a LEG BY LEG basis.
Ex:
FLL to LGA to FLL. If you come in 20 over block on FLL to LGA then come in 19min under block LGA to FLL. You get a grand total of 1 min over block for that duty period instead of the 20 min I’m due.
Regional airlines don’t even do this. It’s theft! Not to mention it doesn’t incentivize an on time operation. It makes me protect the over block I made on the prior leg by slowing down if I’m not on a “rigged trip”
Seriously wtf

This is current book. The bullet points in the AIP mentioned current rigs until pbs and it’s been discussed ad nauseum. We would go 5.0 duty period average and 3.5 to 1 trip rig, and 1:2 duty rig

Wow. That way below the new Alaska rates. Guys, you can't possibly be voting yes for that. In April my year 7 Airbus captain rate is $237 and we are way under market. The TA is $32 behind that an $50 behind average. You deserve way better than that. Good luck to you all, you have our support!

As a fellow ALPA pilot also involved in contentious contract negotiations, I can only plead: please don't accept this. This kind of BS will hurt everyone below the big 4.
I wish you guys and gals the best. I'm not in your shoes, so I can't judge properly, but this really does not look like the best.
