YOU got off reserve, good for you looking out for number one!
That's shortsighted and self-centered and the reason why this turd passed at 70%.
I got off reserve too, but was not willing to throw the whole reserve QOL under the bus because I was not affected by it.
At a previous airline this attitude backfired at those few who did not care much about the commuters, when their base closed!
It's supposed to be a union remember? NOT each one for themselves...
Bob and Bendo would love that!
Unfortunately it looks like they partially succeeded.

What the F are you talking about? No one threw anyone under the bus when it comes to reserve pilots. The reserve guys did it to themselves by abusing the system everyday. God I'm sick of you crybabies who feel you should get paid to checkerboard and that going to work should be a rare event. Looking out for number 1 is a phrase people like you use when the group wasn't looking out for "your" specific interests.

Because they made it so the company couldn't use them. If RSV guys didn't all do it every week you would still have it. Just because something is allowed in the contract doesn't mean it can't be abused. I'm not saying it's wrong but treating it the way people did ensured its destruction. Smart enough? It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to drop a work day and no one is mad at them for doing it. Just sick of hearing people complain about it as if the whole group should have given something up to make sure they could continue sitting at home.

There is NO 85 hr line for avg line holder, in May only 60 out of 875 lines have more than 85 hr credit. Min credit 72, avg credit 76, avg days off 14.5 excluding reserve which has 12 days off.
