Not to worry, we'll fix it in 5 years. Maybe this group will pull it's head out of its collective arse and start participating.

And by participating, I mean more than just whining on APC. Real change needs to take place and it needs to start now or well always be working under substandard contracts. The committee did the best "it" could.

Agree ^^^
Participation?
It would be fascinating to have a vote on how many of our members believe our union is promoting their interests.
Too many folks here are about answering that phone, above all!

Are y'all forecasting ONT/SAT flying?
Did the new guy (named after ex NJ gov) say all growth east of MSP to DFW line?

I thought we came up short in a few areas on this contract but I absolutely DO believe our union is promoting our interests and I feel the same about ALPA in general. I am a firm believer in unionism though. A lot of pilots tend to be anti union unless it’s themselves. This self loathing tends push the blame onto those that represent them when any union is only as strong as its members not necessarily their reps. Be proud to be in a union even if it’s not popular with your neighbors or America in general. Be informed and show up to events. Hold your representatives accountable but also support them so they can do the best job possible for you. They cannot and we as a group cannot be effective without that support. I do think the bargaining process for airlines is ridiculous though.

Fully Agree.
My post may have been ambiguous...
Although I strongly opposed this TA, I'm a firm and passionate proponent of unions and ALPA.
I was referring to a number of our pilots who are apathetic and complacent.

Had a ramp weather delay in MCO yesterday, got a little insight from a base supervisor. She said the new “C” Terminal will host JetBlue and all international airlines, and once that move is completed we will move to the A Concourse. Also big announcement there July 31st she had been told. I’d expect the base announcement since it takes a few months to get it going before all the new routes and 50+ departures daily take place in the fall.

I saw Ted in May and point blank asked him about new aircraft. New order is coming, Boeing was very very aggressive on selling us 737. Airbus was not cutting deals. I told him stick with Airbus its working don't fix it.
