That wouldn't fall within the 13-15% growth guidance that's been issued would it? I think it's too early for NK or F9 to be talking merger. We've made significant improvements in the quality of our airline but we still have a ways to go. And as we're in the process of spending capital to put the new logo on the side of the airplanes and every other piece of forward facing material with our logo I can't then see merging in six months to do it all over again.

What makes you think if a merger we’re to happen that Spirit would be the ones changing anything? Lol

It’s just a guess that fits the facts and not indicative of what I’m hoping will happen. |

An acquisition would certainly fulfill the growth requirements for the next few years depending on how many of their deliveries were negotiated in the deal. Whether NK would pay Indigo a premium for those slots is an unknown. I also don't know the tolerance for 4 different engine types but that'd be a minor issue, aside from the poorer CFM fuel burn, with manuals and maintenance. Boeing has presented a 3/2 aircraft full fleet swap plan with simulator and MX support. I don't want F9 or antique airplanes but who knows what's coming our way. Hopefully Ted's welcome email is a tad longer than Bob's was.

I bet uniforms aren’t one of the top 50 things execs GAF about when considering mergers or acquisitions. They’d probably put us in a pair of chinos and a polo anyway, so how much could that possibly cost?

And Teds welcome email? What welcome. He’s already taken over. Just another absentee CEO. You won’t hear much from him. Behind the scenes so far. My last airline, We had a damn good CEO. Weekly updates. Videos. He was very hands on and vocal. You won’t see that here since Baldanza |
