In the new hire flow guide, I believe it’s listed on the last few pages.

However I think they just give you the approach call outs.

It is a terrific app and absolutely worth the $50 some bucks that it is.
This x100

Almost exclusively used that app to study and training went well.

The flow guide has the majority of them. It just doesn’t have the approach callouts or reading of the FMA. But, no. You didn’t miss something. Like I said, if you know all that, you’ll be ahead of the game.

As far as the flows go, did you find it easier to learn all of the fo flows first then all the capt flows or learn both at the same time for the same phase of flight?

As far as training goes, the right seat does all the FO and PF flows and left seat does CA and PM. For my personal learning, I used the A320 app and went from cold-dark and learned what each person was supposed to be doing during each phase all the way to parking.

I don't have a personal iPad but seem to be doing okay with the paper cockpit. Definitely sending myself bonkers with the flows but slowly progressing. I found that combining all the memory items into a spreadsheet it makes it easier too.

Thanks. With regard to the flows, the preliminary cockpit prep, does this have to be memorized as a flow? I noticed in the AOM normal procedures it say's it can be performed from memory or with the use of the AOM, it also says the same for PM/PF cockpit prep as well. So do the actual flows start with the Before Start Flow? Thanks!

The instructors will expect you to have them memorized. You will also get evaluated at the end of week two. The evaluation will be flows, DIFSRIP, ABBBA TOPHAT CANE, and call outs.

From a previous pilots recommendation, I used 1stepprep.com for their oral prep and systems review. Excellent and guaranteed money back if you don’t pass. Their online videos were efficient and put together extremely well. Was a better learning experience and more efficient option then the “hey go read the AOM vol 1 your oral is in three weeks.”

Tape them to a wall, use a small table for the center console. Sit on either side in a chair doing the flows to build a bit of muscle memory. To start with, just work on the flow itself, once you can find each item and memorized the order, use the flow guide and AOM to expand on each item.
