I’ve got a class date next month and I’m just wondering about some “on the road” QOL things at Spirit.

1. Normal layover lengths? Domestic vs international?
2. Quality of hotels?
3. Your favorite layover(s) and why?

1. see post above
2. 95% of the time they’re great, long stay are usually great quality in the downtown area.
3. This depends on what YOU like in a city. Lots of people like the long stays in the bigger cities (LGA, LAS, BOS, SEA, PDX, MIA, IAH, ATL, whatever you like) because you’re in locations where there’s something for everyone. With a little effort you can find hidden gems in every layover if you want, or just slam click and sleep until the van, the choice is yours.

I bid long layovers. Then I complain about the van ride and send lots of complaints to the union. I very much hate California because I only watch Fox News. I figure if I do enough LAX overnights and complain enough they will stop putting us there. I never leave the room, I prefer to eat MRE and take the hotel wifi bandwidth to the limit.

Nothing gets my day going like the awful waffle, steel texture oatmeal, and Mike Tyson spouse bruised fruit of the Hampton Inn breakfast
