yeah. When their pay was half what it currently is, their work rules were awful, and their entire pilot group was telling applicants “save yourself don’t come here”?

different ball game.

we won’t be hiring CFI’s in a year, either. Crazy that some of you guys think so low of this place, kinda sad

So funny, I know. Let me guess you were one of the slouches that showed up with their crappy polo that was 10 years out of style and some generic khaki slacks and thought that was acceptable? There was a lot of misinformation here on what Spirit currently prefers so I dug a little deeper, found the right answer, and passed it on to any potential new hires like any good pilot would do. Sorry if that offended you, I guess you were never new to a job before.

But I digress. So tell me what were we talking about that requires a healthy knowledge of Spirit flows? We were talking about the state of the Regional industry and the mindset of those pilots. I think I have a better gauge on that over some out of touch "10 year" pilot whatever that means.

Such a funny post, says it all.

So glad we have someone here with fresh knowledge of the mindset of the regional pilot. That info will be critical for the Spirit pilot group. Up until now we have only had the out of touch “10 year pilot” and their even older khakis.

You really are “essential”.

You should really take your passive aggressive hostility down a notch.

You are a special kind of odd. I think your “regional” knowledge is the last thing we need here. That regional knowledge is what we are all trying to get away from.

It's all bonus money. I'll believe the shortage when the hourly rates are raised.

Never once been somewhere where a man in a suit looked over dressed. Maybe the beach or boat. Even a ballgame or other leisure activity if someone showed up in a suit you wouldn’t take a second look. It doesn’t matter what Spirit said or prefers, you show up in a nice well fitting suit no one is going to fault you. That’s just common sense. The fact that you had to even ask is telling. This is the pros. Stop playing minor league ball.

Too bad this mentality largely disappears when pilots hit the line!
