True. But MERS was a similar Coronavirus and it originated in areas with temperatures well over 100*.

preliminary data indicates it is similar to the flu, and that there is an air quality/pollution, and possibly cigarrette smoker, connection of some sort, for those who died.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was, but again no numbers from the people running the show. Are we down 20% or 40%? Huge spread. 20% is probably manageable with some network tweaking, 40% probably calls for more drastic measures... but who knows what they’re seeing.
