Welcome to Spirit and please don’t be like this when you get to the line by making your job harder than it needs to be.
hes technically not an airline employee until day one of class. Thus he would be a normal passenger when traveling.

CDC recommendations do not apply to flight crews as they are immune to Covid19. Their families are too .

nope - not hard. I have asked some questions and will do the needful. May even drive to FLL
I guess if I drive in I can't carry the virus

It is the norm, but govt only put in restrictions that can be implemented easily. Never mind that the restrictions are not meaningful in the face of loopholes.

Come on guys, has common sense gone out the window?

He is not going to be imprisoned or fined on the way from the airport to training. And if he is, a letter stating that he will be an employee tomorrow doesn’t change the facts.

While a long drive, it’s really nice to have a car while in training.

You won’t regret having a vehicle in training!

We had guys in my class drive in from Vegas and Texas. The wheels come in very handy. Being subject to the hotel shuttle sucks.

I drove seventeen hours to class. Worth it, in my opinion.
