No furloughs allowed before Sept. 30th if you take the stimulus money. Therefore, furloughs allowed October 1st.

While that does nothing about the NUMBER who are dying, it cuts the RATE in half. With universal testing it seems likely that the true rate will end up down around 0.3-0.4%, a huge improvement from the initial 2-3% mortality rate being used in many of the epidemiological models based upon early mortality figures.

and yeah, while all those asymptomatic people running around feeling well but potentially spreading the virus has its own set of negatives, it does indeed bring the fatality rate down and hastens the day when there won’t be enough susceptibles out there to sustain the epidemic and it will start to burn itself out.
no disagreement at all there. For the record just reading someones garbage post saying the mortality rate is dropping and calling this less scary makes my blood boil seeing as how thats just bad foxnews / trump / know nothing information at best and ultimately dangerous.
lets hope it continues to be less than the 3.5% that was the max predicted.

right. But his post wasn’t with that tenor. His post was absolute “all airlines are going to furlough Oct 1”

unless he has something to back that up, it’s a pretty reckless thing to post.

not sure anyone knows until an announcement is made. this goes for any airline. seeing as how allot of places are doing the 50 hr reduced lines etc i think airlines as much as anyone is waiting to see how this all develops and how many people take them. they then will be able to figure out their future costs built off of this and vary it as its a bid month to month.
thats the strategy i assume

The Chloroquine / Z-pack cocktail has been 100% effective in trails in Europe. Both are already FDA approved medications. No, lets stay out of work, order $36,000 ventilator machines from some politicians friends company they bought stock in, when we could be sending folks home for a week to self medicate with a 100% success rate. Nope, lets listen to te doom and gloomers (who've already admitted their initial projections were grossly overestimated, meaning this is not an actual pandemic at all.)
