when this is all over, and the furlough is in the rear view mirror and we get a couple of elections down the road, I hope we all take a good hard look at what we have done. When did we become so distrustful of science and people who devote their lives to public service and think everyone and everything is a scam? Vaccines, global warming and so many other fact based policies that would help us all have been set aside. If this was 1980 1/2 of you would be arguing smoking didn’t cause cancer because Alex Jones said so. Sad

With an increasing mortality rate with age I wonder how many of the C19 victims would have died of other causes in the next 12 months without a C19 infection. Will we see an increase in the number of deaths or will we simply skew the numbers of deaths to the left and then see a dip before we return to normal post C19?
come on, I know you can be lazier than that! Why don’t you just call it “19”.
I heard cases of 19 is going down in the state of Texas is that true?

So many will be furloughed, then elect the radical left to office, raise taxes, pile on more debt, pay for all the social causes, open the borders, enact the Green New Deal, emissions for airliners, Airbus already test flying pilotless airliners, less jobs to come back to, This will change travel just like 9/11 did. Many will have their career set back a decade. It’s a cycle.
If you think growth will return to pre Covid levels anytime soon, you are fooling yourself. Many waited decades to see the growth we finally had in this industry. That ship has now sailed and the growth that will return will be slow.

When this is all over and you look in the mirror in a decade or more, people are going to think it was absolutely crazy that we destroyed the economy, piled on debt that will take generations to pay for by trying to protect everyone instead of just the at risk.

What you clearly are unable to grasp, or more likely unable to understand, is that cancer, heart disease and auto accidents don’t reduce flying demand thus creating the biggest downturn in this industry’s history. Not even Apples to Oranges. More like Apples to Zebras. How many times did you have to repeat your Debate 101 Class in school?
can you cite a reference for that, because with the exception perhaps of a single trip to the ancestral crypt, it seems...unlikely.

You’re not very bright are you? So are you saying that cancer or heart disease creates public panic in that passengers en mass will stop flying for fear of getting said diseases from sitting in a jet? Or that Disney shuts down due to fear of contracting cancer while riding on Space Mountain? Dude, you really need to go back to junior college and learn some debate tactics. You’re pretty week. I hope you fly planes better than you try and debate a point.
