well maybe next time if I run across a United pilot I should ask if they have their apps in a real Major like Spirit.

or at the very least just giggle and laugh at that.

The phone interview is very straight forward...First, an overview of the company, how many planes are coming in the future, training pay( You will just listen to him/her talk) Then they verify your hours on your resume, ask other questions on your resume such as volunteer work, etc. The very last question is "Why Spirit and why will you stay"? have that question ready to answer. Then you will wait from 24hrs-5 days for an email for the next step. It lasts maybe 15mins

So I have an in person interview coming up and had a question maybe those who’ve recently gone could answer. I use LogTen pro for my logbook, they want only paper copies. LogTen pro has a printable version of logbooks. Do y’all know if that would suffice? Otherwise I have about 2 years worth of flying to backup in my paper log. Also, even though I have a rATP for time (I’m eligible now for a normal ATP), they selected me for an interview. I’m currently in the process of getting the restriction removed, but do they care more about it being an unrestricted ATP or being eligible for it?

Printing your electronic logbook is totally fine; you can get it printed and spiral bound pretty easily at FedEx Office, staples, etc. I brought mine in like that plus my paper logbooks. I wasn’t hired recently, but two years ago, they hardly looked at it.

It would probably be nice to have the restriction removed prior, but also I’d bet not a big deal. I bet they could remove it along with your type rating paperwork during training.

Curious what your total time is with a restricted atp. Doesn’t it transfer to a normal atp at 1500hrs
