you should also see the poems that it did for me. It was pretty funny. There is a good one under the United then TA contract thread.

I also had it make one about Cinodemayo. It was pretty hilarious, but unfortunately I couldn’t post it because it contained some words that would be a no-no on this forum.
that’s BULLCRAP. Someone must have whined to them.

if you were already at AA in ORD I’d probably say consider staying if you had any appreciable amount of time under your belt there. Otherwise, run to United.
I'm at NK with a UA offer on the table

I mean, what's worse...letting an AI chatbot decide your future for you or a bunch of anonymous pilots on a forum board?

I’ve got a buddy who got a UA interview invite recently so he went and took a stroll down B and C terminal for a vibe check. He found that useful in his decision making progress as well as his ability to retire in the top 200 at UAL.

If you’re not sure, go spend some time in the United Terminals, stop some of the pilots and see what they have to say.

If you lived some place where Spirit or JetBlue were a big game in town and had no intention of moving then I’d say seriously consider staying out at NK. ORD is not one of those places (BOS JFK BWI FLL etc.).

Congrats. You won’t regret it. Adding 100-150 planes per year for the next 5 years. Hiring 2,600+ pilots every year.

If you hold a line at Spirit, live in a UA and Spirit base, you'll miss Spirit for a while. If you live in an NK base, intend to go to United and commute, you'll miss Spirit forever.

I base this on how things are today. Things will change in the future and that's what you have to hedge your bets on.

Jump seated on a 4 hour flight with United the other day. Things aren’t as peachy as you guys paint. Their work rules and QOL are a joke (and that’s from the 737 captains mouth)

Now that you’re in the know, why aren’t we getting new hires from United?

Money is a factor, with starting pay and all, but the real deal is the Merger, and all the uncertainty that that brings.

Easy to understand, though. If you live in a United or Delta base, without much seniority at NK, why go through the uncertainty of a merger if you don't want to move? Some of our larger bases will certainly stay, but there are a handful that are definitely up in the air (pun intended).
