Why we are negotiating sub par pays rates on a public forum I will never understand?

Whoever said $300+ an hour for Airbus captain pay needs to get with the times. let our NC do their job without us hampering them. We will be the 5th largest airline in the country. The other 4 are trying to make fo pay start with a 2, captain pay start with a 3 and 4 isn’t far behind. This $25 or 25% BS talk doesn’t help the cause.
BOOM, mic drop! Nuff said$

Much likelier than 25%. Not to mention 25% would put a new hire at roughly $76. $86 to start with $140 second year pay with a retention bonus will certainly keep and get some people here. Not saying the previous rumor is even true but $25/hr and a bonus to entice new hires to stay seems much more plausible to me. And if the deal goes thru then a new JCBA will have to and more than likely bring pay parity with the legacies.

and attrition will never stop. People will always be enticed by widebodies , legacy names, variety , etc. spirits on time performance has been decent this summer therefore attrition is hurting the bottom line with so many X lists being handed out , but the attrition has NOT put the company on the verge of total collapse. An LOA with respectable pay/bonus will make attrition slow no doubt, and seems like a necessary and logical step to bridge the gap until all this plays out. I am fully expecting to see something along those lines ..
Delta contract became amendable almost 3 years ago. Adjust those rates for inflation, and that will happen, 12yr 321 pay becomes $330. And that is exactly what SWAPA is asking for. Apples to apples.

Asking and getting are 2 different things.

Yes, FO pay in the 2’s and CA pay in the 3’s.

this is straight from a guy in new hire class and management gave a presentation too.

Also ONLY first year new hires. Once 1 year is complete you get a “signing bonus” of $45,000. And health insurance immediately!!!
Just called two ALPA guys and one chief pilot and 4 out of 3 of them Say it’s not happening.

My question is what do people like you get from posts like this? You just bored and like to screw with people? Do you simply not vet information before you regurgitate it? I don’t want to assume malice so I left with only the reality that you’re the type of sheep believes everything he hears.

Good to hear that 133% of the people you called said it’s not happening. I could have told you it’s not happening purely based on the part that Halon is the one who posted it. Amusing to see 3 pages later the word is still out wether it should be $25 or 25%. I’m gonna say neither.

it would be wise to only pay attention to actual Union/company emails. The rest is complete BS. Unless that one guy in new hire class said it, then it’s 100% true.

I’m usually right 6.5 out of 5 times.
