Attrition

I'm sure there's a group of people who want to fly long haul at some point who will bail, but I would guess they're probably in the 1-2 year FO range and don't have much to lose. Hard for a 5 year CA who lives in base to start over.

Was talking to an FO in LAX last week who was waiting on a class date at big D. Said he knew a few guys who got put into holding patterns at Delta and came to NK in the interim, now they are just waiting for the green light.
Heard of another last month one who was bidding (successfully) upgrade with a confirmed Delta class, talk about covering your bases.
I don’t think it will be enough to make an operational impact, but it would be interesting to compare an exit interview with a follow up a year later.

I know of double digit number of people who have left or will be leaving within the last 30 days to the next 30 days FWIW, myself included. There were 3 of us at my interview. Spirit has been great to me. Just tired of commuting is all.
