JetBlue is a non-legacy, non-LCC major airline. Regardless, APC isn't the arbiter of airline business models. JetBlue ditched the LCC model a while back. Review their CASM, product and cost structure and get back to me. Maybe we can chat about it when I commute in your CRJ9 jumpseat.

it’s more like pilots love to makes them selves miserable because they get to fly big planes to Europe.
they really don’t know what’s good for them.
look at APA posting all these videos of how they want better work rules. And how grumpy they are… hey at least they’re a legacy and nobody really cares about the rest.

People here can post whatever they want on a web board as whatever character they’ve taken on, but the proof is in the pudding. When it comes time to make real life decisions, in the real world, there’s a steady stream of Spirit pilots to AA and zero from AA to Spirit. Sorry if that hurts.
And 90% of AA Captains aren’t grumpy, and if the ones you meet are then maybe it’s you? This is a real time example of what I’m taking about on these web boards.

The videos = contract negotiations. And I’m glad they’re putting those out.

I never said people weren’t leaving Spirit for AA. So are you suggesting AA has awesome work rules?

Couldn’t resist the dig at the end there could you? Jet blue fits the “national” category it’s in. Your scheduling has some good language. But so does Spirit. It’s going to be an interesting integration. But to say they gave up on the LCC model is a bit disingenuous. They are buying Spirit.
