Attrition based on Vacancy bids 23-06 to 23-09. From NH Mar 27 to Jun 19: total NHs 266, total adds to SL 103, total attrition 163, so 54 per month on average. Also, attrition is above planned, as total planned NHs from 3/27 to 6/19 was 214, but actual in class was 266, so 52 more, and 27 of those are in June. Sounds like they are increasing their "outhire attrition" model. If anyone has older vacancy bulletins send them over, I love doing math on my days off.

so over the timeframe you listed….hired 266, left co 163. Net gain 103?

Remaining on the SL from the 2013 hires:
JB: total 221, A320 PIC 73, 220/170 PIC 53, FO 100.
NK: total 168, PIC 162, FO 6.

2018 hires:
JB: 224 total, 158 320, 23 220, 42 170, all FO
NK: 298 total, 40PIC, 258 FO.

(all based on March 22 Seniority list data, because the way I built the excel sheet makes it hard to add to the bottom....)

Yes, once you upgrade, your pay is a bit higher, but if it takes an extra 5 years to upgrade.....
Upgrades coming to a screeching halt for NK FOs makes some large assumptions on a SLI. Pure DOH integration and yeah NK FOs are screwed for upgrading but that’s pretty unlikely

I am assuming 50% DOH/RS will happen. That will still mean a significant period of only JB upgrades, obviously depending on fences... But anyone thinking this a good deal for a 3-4 year NK pilot needs drug testing. The extra pay is just not worth it.

Wow. A year and a half ago, they were saying they’ll need 30-40 CA per month. It’s still just a trickle.

The sale of the 319s fixed any potential CA shortage problem.

Not sure about that. We’re netting less ac now after we announced getting rid of the 319’s.
