You’re pretty damn new to this “airline pilot” thing. Granted you were “Born2Fly”, I get why someone at the bottom end of the list would not want to face certain realities.
Facts are the company has discussed furloughs and they are a very real possibility if the merger fails, as is Chapter 11. It’s not being a pessimistic person, it’s being someone who has done this for more than a few years.
So maybe just listen to those who have been doing this for a while, save your cash, and explore options if necessary is the merger fails.
