fairly certain I have seen day trips out of there next month so while it may not be an official base yet I think our presence there may be expanding.

I don't know if I'm buying this "we can't get it to run the bid properly" thing. Flica is a reputable product that has been around for years and is used by many airlines. If it wasn't capable of running a displacement bid correctly, something like that would be well known.

It has to be customized for each specific contract. You’ve seen the chaos every open time drop, right?

You were the one last page talking about how long DOT takes to process, you really think a mass displacement bid would be easier than DOT? Flica (Sabre) sucks.

I would guess this is Spirit going to Sabre a few weeks before the displacement and saying they will be doing it before trying it out first, and then it fails. Reminds me of when Jyri turned on the new release software without a trial run and the system crashed and was asking guys to file their own flight plans.

Then you don't know "Sabre Crew Disasters" very well.

FLiCA was once a pretty good product, small but trying to get better. Then they got bought by Sabre and stank up the place.

No, and they shelves the plans to move corporate to BNA. Operations are split between FLL and MCO with a new HQ building being constructed near the FLL airport. Mergers not withstanding.
