This is the best leverage we will ever see in our careers. UAL and AA inking new deals soon will only raise the bar and dial up the leverage.

Management learns slowly, sometimes they need to touch the stove 3 times before the realize it’s hot. They need net 60 new hires a month approx for this years deliveries. Every month they don’t get it, increases it for the next.

I for one look forward to the opportunities this leverage will bring

Now, I think all airline management will file BK in the next 5-7 years to reset “unsustainable rates” across the industry, history is a nice reminder. But until then, this is a great time to be entering section 6.

Buck up boys, it’s not that bad

OK, it almost never happens, but Mayo and I are in rare agreement here….^^^^^^

Never say never…

I guess you prefer the legacy model that requires retirements. The reason not many were hired in the last decade was because of no retirements. Next decade will be the other way around, so an insane amount of youngish people will be hired at the legacies, and the bottom half of those will be complaining on my jumpseat as 20 year NB FOs for the next 2 decades (nah, I'll be gone before that).

been off for two days waiting for my xlist call. Sitting at 79 hours and 14 off. Have 6 days off total this stretch was hoping for an xlist to boost the pay. 3 calls system wide today - 2 Vegas 1 fll. Not many phones Ringing.

As I said earlier - x list isn’t guaranteed nor is a good schedule if you are over 30 percent in base.

what is guaranteed is lowest a320 rates other then Allegiant. Guess my February 79 hour line 14 off is considered good. This place has a long way to go to be close to any legacy.

Learn how to bid.

Because IF you really have 14 off, it means you are working 16.

Even 4 4-day trips at 20 hours a trip is 80 credit.

You dont know how to bid, or lying to make things sound more miserable

My money is on both being true

Well, not always. W4349 w4353 etc (not sure about other bases) can get you some pretty awful credit and they’re actual 4 days, not the “well you finished at 1am” on day 4 baloney.

Well enough to not spend my entire life constantly complaining.

Find a hobby, find a puppy, find a mate, just fine some happiness. Life is short.
