If the joint negotiating team doesn't come through then we vote down the JCBA and demand that both MEC's replace the negotiating committee. If the MEC's refuse to recall the negotiators then we demand through our LEC's a recall of the MEC's. My crystal ball says that this is exactly what we will have to do.

i wasn’t here for 2018 but I’ve been reading all the posts between the two pilot groups on each carriers forum page and I’m excited and happy to see the positive comments and the strive for nothing but the best. I hope we all flood our respective negotiating committees email address with our wish lists and let it be known loud and clear what it is we want. I’m asking for the moon and nothing less.

My crystal ball says the JCBA gets voted in on roughly the same lines as the current contracts. (At F9 I think ours passed by 72% if I recall correctly)

Getting the LECs to listen and recall will take a miracle. Most of the reps have been put in place and backed by the MEC. It’s a good ole boys club. Why do you think we’ve had basically the same negotiators for so long?? It would be easier to find an honest politician in Washington.

Both pilot groups need to demand their voices be heard! No better time than now for us!

Yep. This is true at F9. If you don't have the support of the majority of the existing union representatives, you won't be elected to any position. There are approximately 2-1/2 people involved with our union at F9 that I have any confidence in at all. They are routinely out-pussied by the majority.

It will happen. Unfortunately all it takes is a future generation that is used to and comfortable with driverless cars.

I told my dentist I expect to walk into her office one day and see a robot drilling and filling my cavity. Then I know pilotless planes are on the way.

Don't get cataract surgery then. Because then you will know.

I have no intention of getting rid of my Cadillac. I like driving it.

By that time I’ll be dead.

If I understand, cataract surgery is all automated. There is not an ophthalmologist to be found in the building. That is what I hear you saying.
