Oh, Jude Blue. I think he gave me a restaurant recommendation in between conspiracy theories one time, but I was actively trying not to listen.

So let me get this straight….there are people who think that the Delta TIA is the pay standard, but that we should also keep all our QOL provisions? Even the “Alaska or better” mantra seems to fail to consider they have several work rules in their contract that most people I have talked to wouldn’t trade into to have their pay rates. To me, the snap up provision is the most important. We are not getting Delta, ever, much less their 22% retroactive pay.

If you want Delta rates, I’m afraid you’re going to have to wear a double breasted suit and a hat…..and kiss seniority and QOL buh-bye. If you’re under 40-ish, it’s a no brainer, maybe. But for the rest of us who are in it for the long haul, I hope we will be rational in our expectations and votes.

Let’s wait and see the actual TA before beginning to rationalize why taking less than industry standard is the way to go… JFC

You are comical. Other than not getting retro bc we aren’t past our amendable date, much of what you said is complete BS. Alaska’s work rules for the most part are garbage but deltas are not at all. If you think they are I think you need to read both of our contracts side by side and get a reality check.

Seriously. It’s like some people have a loan shark ready to break their legs that they’ll vote for anything. The “this is spirit” attitude is toxic and needs to quit

Take it for what it’s worth as I’m not NK, but I have a really good friend who’s banging your CEO’s secretary and he confirmed all of that plus you’re all getting a new Miata.
