Yeah this place barely runs. It’s insane.

So waiting 45 min for rampers isn’t normal? 😂

Sounds like a typical day in EWR on the UAX side lol

I bet this guy’s great to fly with. Don’t you dare have a different opinion! I voted no with zero emotion and I’m glad you would have too, since we both have different opinions on how this affects our future.

Maybe I missed it, but when will we know the results of the vote?

Tomorrow, not long after the vote closes and is certified.

So you disregard SOP, just to cost the company money, while the NC said they couldn't ask for more, because NK wasn't profitable. Got it. Makes total sense.

You don’t even need to do all of that. Burning an engine for 45 minutes waiting for rampers already burns plenty.

FNGs: "Give us more money now"

Also FNGs: "I don't know why this thing isn't slowing down" during a CI99 descent, or "what in the heck is WATRS airspace?"

That’s due to the barebones training they’re given.

True, but some of it is attitude from what I've seen on the line

Sad you had 3 weeks to come up with a 10am eastern joke, and this was it. This is one step below sending a “Rick roll” link to friends titled “TA results”

Never wore in the first place. Building our legacy means we would have got a ta to proud of not just to settle with.

Sad. Really sad.

Halon1211 01-10-2023 07:22 AM

Interesting…

A few moments ago as soon as this TA passed my pay is now higher than that of a NB American, United or Southwest pilot in the same seat and longevity.

This is very interesting because according to all those no voters I am now the lowest paid airbus operator. And in about another year or two we are going back to contract negotiations for an even higher pay raise.

moral of the story is;

Agreed

People bought in to the lousy pay raise compared to our peers and the nasty KoolAid the NC was selling at the used car lots (I mean road shows)

AndroidPilot 01-10-2023 07:24 AM

Nice!!! Goes to show it's more than us FNGs that wanted this to pass. Now go make some money!!

We built our legacy as bottom feeder Airbus feeders.

All on OLD contracts. They will all leave us in the dust soon.

And a good thing we will be right back at the table to build on those contracts for our next.

This vote was exactly like 2018, as I said it would be. Reminds me of UGA and TCU last night.

This isn’t a contract lol. By definition we are operating on an old contract ourselves with a pay bump until JCBA or a full blown CBA. I’m not pleased with the rates offered but people need to stop being so dramatic.

Ya because leapfrogging their current contract and their future contract at one swipe in only three months of negotiating is totally how it works.

and in 3 months we’ll be 20 percent behind them again. Congrats on your win tho
