My memory is blurry, but didn’t the JetBlue Pilots publicly support the merger only after something in return? The JetBlue F/A’s did. I think Spirit MEC was wanting something possibly JetBlue pilot pay parity in the TPA before officially supporting the merger I think. I think they won’t support it now, because it probably wouldn’t budge the needle enough and would just make them look desperate in the process.

If we had gotten to a TPA then that means the merger would have already been approved and our "support" would mean absolutly nothing. But hey glad they would rather this place go bankrupt than do whats best for the pilot group out of not trying to "look desperate in the process. Talk about getting it...

Now the merger has been blocked. If JetBlue thinks our support will get the deal over the line in an appeal then they will approach us and we can make a trade.

SPA was most likely asking for a guarantee of a pay raise and then IF the merger were to be approved they would get that pay raise in the TPA.

We are not in control of this, if JETBLUE could care less then SPA saying we want this deal is gonna make us all sound as desperate as you sound right now.

And how exactly is ch11 with our carreers on the line the best possible outcome? Don't worry i'll wait.

Why don’t you just see how this plays out and stop offering away things for free. What’s next, you think we should offer pay concessions to help our failing airline out.
