doesn’t help there’s a huge slowdown in the Las Vegas tourism industry.

It’s been all over the news. Blaming everything from Trump, lack of Canadians, ICE deportations, tariffs, too expensive in general, Casinos being sold off the Wall Street, hotel room price gouging by AI, resort fees, nothing is free, no comps., changing the gambling rules, alcohol prices, lack of buffets, expensive buffets, tipping culture, dining fees, etc.

On and on. There’s so many reasons for it.

To be frank, it’s just too damn expensive.
A large black coffee (plain Jane black coffee) at Starbucks at a casino is easily $10.00. Not including the expected tip.

That and apparently millennials (and younger) not wanting to spend an insane amount of money on hotels and alcohol to gamble in a smokey casino when they can do it on their smartphone.

Vegas used to be cheap kicks but now everything there costs, and it costs a fortune. The quality of everything has been reduced drastically as well. Combine that with the fact that America's brokest generations just don't have the free cashflow to sustain their parents lifestyle of random trips to Vegas to blow their money, loss of foreign tourism, and you get a pretty ugly outlook.

In general, Vegas has been getting outrageously expensive. Combined with the fact that unlike a few years ago today most people live within driving distance to a casino, fewer and fewer people are making the trip out there.

no free parking. And there’s some better perks at off strip casinos.
