Sorry that you guys are going through this...again.

On that note, Lincoln Osiris is awfully quiet this morning.

You Spirit guys deserve so much better. So sorry this is happening.

I used to blame Judge Young - and while I still believe the judgement is wrong, I really blame TC for insisting under oath that NK would be fine even without the merger.

Damn. I feel like us at B6 aren’t far behind you.

The amount of excitement and borderline celebrating from those who's "speculations" we're correct is absolutely disgusting. You guys must be so thrilled that you "called it", rather than being humble and having empathy for everyone who going to impacted. I'm sure the hundred's of families going to be effected are happy your ego's got a boost thing morning.

We are still at 14.2 at Frontier and hearing that we are overstaffed. Shat times in the ULCC world.
We had 2840 Pilots on last months bid. We will be furloughing 270 as of right now. So 2570 left on property before any attrition.
196 airplanes after the sale puts us at 13.11 per plane.

But we are planning on ~ 40 planes down for a while.
16.5 for active planes.
Could mean more planes back online sooner, more plane sales, or more furloughs. No one knows.

Especially Bendo.

Wow, relax. I was not implying or gloating at all. I was simply pointing out mr doomsday in this thread clearly had no clue what was really happening after being so sure of himself. You seriously think I am thumping my chest over hundreds of pilots losing their jobs?! Get f real. I have barely posted on this forum and only spoke up regarding some asinine projection posts during a time when it wasn't needed. Best of luck and adios.

Now I’m hearing BK to get rid of 55 leases we are upside down in. I think the rumors are true we are going to 100 jets and 1700 pilots. Regardless I’m a commuter now under this pile of **** bid

I left because I didn't think it would get better. It was a hard decision because I will never get back the seniority I had. So when I see the current announcement it validates my decision. That is in no way a celebration of what the NK pilots are going through. Regardless if they chose to stay or could not leave, they did not deserve this. Hindsight is always better, and I should have left when I told everyone to leave. And I don't expect or deserve sympathy for that. Just because people are calling out the likes of Lincoln doesn't mean they are gloating about your situation. They are calling out his unwarranted optimism in the face of facts.

Between 2012 and 2022 NK always had around 16.5/plane. So hopefully not the last 2 options

And yeah, bendo 🤮

Jesus, I think Spirit peaked at over 3700 pilots at one point? That’s insane
