Spirit of NKS
There is no doubt that the more vocal group of NK pilots frequents these boards.
We seem to have a relative consensus on issues regarding our "hard stance" in the upcoming negotiations.
Unfortunately after the results of the recent LOA, and conversations with our peers, much of our growing group does not share these views.
I think it is important to spread the word, because I fear a great opportunity to gain the best possible outcome may be lost.
Many in our group are focusing on quick results, to avoid losing $$$.
There is no better time to make this a leading contract, than now.
The economic environment is optimal, and the timing perfect.
oil price
stock price
interest rates
aviation growth
exponential hiring
When will we again be in a position to negotiate, in the middle of a doubling in size growth spur?
IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

Yes Sir, you got it. But they'll never accept that they made a mistake. All failures will be blamed on guys like me and you with "an attitude problem".
Oh, but management gonna play nice when it comes to negotiating time because we gave in to 'em with this loa. Bah! We gave in and they know we're going to cave and take whatever they hand out to us. We better get our heads screwed on straight, or we're gonna find out that cow is dry come milking time.

So now I wonder what anti MEC rants are on Amongero's and Hopkins' board. Funny how things work out.

Just to be clear. It is Amongero and Hopkins that approved this new board and acted to shut down the real spiritpilotboard. The MEC reps. clearly approved the now defunct spiritpilotboard ( at least the 109 reps.) as they had their own forum on that board.

A copy and paste from that board is not a good idea in my opinion. Here there is anonymity, there the members are vetted and manually added.

We need to move on and get a good contract now. We don't need distractions like recalls.
