Lol, not all of us voted "yes".

But as you said, "that ship has sailed....".

Yep, a site to see when we have to decide between shinny gold per hr vs 4 days, transition and or some other short live benefit.

Cant blame him for being stupid. That was a set-up by the old MEC. He still doesn't know what happened.

Don't even get me started on this stupid piece of business. We really let the dog bite into the duck on this one. What done is done we will need to be real critical of any future bit of negotiation business thats for sure. Ipads! Bah! Who needs them? Whats wrong with the paper anyway worked fine for many many years.

It's not necessary, but I would definitely get a car. Coral Bay is on the east side of the island and is a very cool place. Check out Skinny Legs. We rented our car in St John. sorry I can't remember the place. VRBO hooked us up with them, and the car was waiting for us when we got off the ferry. I've heard you can rent the car in STT but I don't have any experience with that.

Man how people forget. I was literally the most vocal on here about voting that thing down. I was the one screaming that it was at least a 1% cost savings to the company on staffing. I have been furloughed by one class date. Someone here will stagnate as an FO for years by a few numbers or even be furloughed or downgraded by the same margin. They will have that loa to thank. So save your stupid for someone else, dick.

That said, it's in the past, but we still do sim training on days off which is what I was speaking to and it needs to stop.

Sorry, I forgot that you were against that. Your post just didn't make sense for having that position. That was the dumbest LOA I have ever heard of.

I disagree on the need for a car for this specific trip... If you stay in Cruz Bay! If you stay In Coral Bay you will need the car for sure. If you are staying in Cruz here is my logic. Day 1 you will arrive in Cruz Bay close to 630pm. You wont need to drive anywhere, walk to the hotel, walk to dinner and drinks. Day two hike to Soloman Beach. Day three Taxi it to Maho Bay Beach, Day 4 you are probably on the ferry to get to the airport by noon. I only rent a car if 1) I dont stay in cruz bay, which is rare. and 2) over a 10 day trip I will usually rent for 2-3 days just to explore the island a little. But IMHO if you stay in Cruz Bay, there is no need to spend $75 to $100 a day on a jeep.

But I have rented through
https://www.courtesycarrental.com/

L & L Jeep Rental, Inc.

Be aware a lot of the rental paces close by 5 or 6 so if you don't get on island til 630 you will need your own ride to coral bay. There is one rental place open 24/7... not sure which one.

I disagree that we disagree. He said he found a place in the east side of the island. I said rent a car. If you stay in Cruz bay you don't need a car.
