Nope. They just hire enough of them to answer the phone within 2 hours.

2% is words being twisted from a recurrent class. This IS pretty entertaining though. There are no deals being offered like that. Call or email or text your rep.

No deal will see the light of day if it doesn't provide a path the parity. We shall see whether they are serious or not this month.

Hopefully we can bridge the gap. And if we can, your input in the surveys will help us understand where you will honestly be happy.

MGMT: The clock is ticking.

Guys I'm not going to be checking on here much. Sorry. Call/text/email/chase me to my car in the parking lot/stop me in the jetbridge/or call your rep.

I thought the 2% was just ridiculous. Since no other reps seem to post here, you should continue to monitor and contribute. I am like a number of guys who just don't trust the spiritpilotboard. I am not going to give up my anonymity here on this board to go elsewhere.

Hi Everyone...sorry to get off topic but I had a couple questions if people want to throw their .02 in. I am starting as a new hire on the 15th. I am trying to decide what base to request. I live about a 3 hour drive from ACY. I have an airport that is about 10 minutes from my house that has 3 flights a day to DTW. What does everyone think would be easier? I have never had to commute for an airline before. on one hand it would be nice to get done with a trip and just have to rely on my car but that's also a lot of money in tolls, gas, miles on my car. What is the commuter policy at Spirit?

Vote no and keep voting no until we get industry standard. Why would we agree to fly A320 aircraft for far less than other airlines represented by ALPA.

As far as I'm concerned; ALPA should have this policy. If you fly an A320 then this is your pay scale period. If you fly a B757 then this is your pay scale period. I will look at Delta and United's ALPA negotiated pay when I vote.

Drive! All bases have a lot of early start and late finishers. You'll make more money and be home more being able to drive to base. Depending on how reliably you are three hours away you could sit reserve at home (rule is 3 hours to the airplane and ready to go flying). Commuter policy is two flights any airline.

You'll also get faster seniority in ACY (as FO anyway). Nobody wants to go there!

Doesn't matter you are junior to me, so whatever you want. JK but driving to work is much better.
