Cmon guys, this meltdown isn't a ploy by the company to get our contract as small as possible. This meltdown is gonna do like it did the previous two summers, it's a couple of steps backwards before the company takes a couple more forwards. I think the incompetency is running high, the desire for profits is seriously affecting how this airline is running and not in a good way, but it's not all a ploy to get a quarter of bad performance before a pilot contract. Heads gotta roll for this though, we can't be a serious airline if our operations are being run by amateurs.

It appears profits have gotten in the way of common sense and hopefully a lesson will be learned, for a long, long time.
Surely a 'reset' is forthcoming or.....

I have been wondering about a reset too, seems like it needs to happen. However it would require admitting that they have lost control and I am not sure this management group can do that. It will be interesting to see if they can get it back on track today.
I wish we didn't have to post about this crap. Management needs to get a handle on this and fix things. Fast. Nothing happened to me, but o ran into a crew the other day who was stuck at the terminal with no hotel. They need to suck up a bit of the profits and start paying our infrastructure more or this place is going to topple in on itself. We need more pilots, flight attendants, but more importantly we need more schedulers, dispatchers and other support personnel. We're growing so fast growing pains are expected, but this is stupid. Hopefully, the message has been heard at HQ.

It's not enough to sit here and hope they get the message. We need to be proactive. We need to demand accountability.
Your spot on! Ideas? Other than contacting my union rep, not sure what else we can do. I'll work my damnedest when at work, but other than that not sure what else to do. I'm sure management reads these forums, so they see the discontent amongst a small number of pilots.
