Thanks guys for all the help. I think I got the list 3 times. Bored, if you need it let me know. One last question, are people who are on LOA (military and the like) allowed to bid a base. I asked this because it appears that 3 or 4 people might be on leave or have resigned before the bid started. It might have pushed Bored and myself out of FLL. I'm going to ask some of the union reps tomorrow to get it cleared but it just seems strange. What if someone didn't bid? I know of one that didn't and they were awarded a base senior to my choice. I'm not going to make a huge deal of this because I expect to be in FLL if we have any new hires but it sure would save the headache of crashpading and the wonderfull commute to ACY. Thanks again.

DN good catch. I got the list. Thanks for everyone who tried to help.

Let me know what you find out about the LOA people. Interesting catch. I am guessing even though they are on an LOA they need a base for when they return.

I hear the next hot thing is the company wanting crews to clean aircraft between flights. Any thoughts?

Too bad! They just signed a contract with us and it says nothing about cleaning planes! (I did hear that too) You guys want to maybe give them an LOA or something....you know...saying we'll clean during turns?!?

We have a chance to be part of the elite. With B^3 and the rest of mahogany row cleaning their own offices, we have the highest paid janitorial staff in the industry.

The way we are doing turns, I am glad if I have time to take a leak. How many times are we getting on the plane, work 3 legs and never even see FA B or C. Not that it is a huge loss but just sayin'. No time. We have to type our life away in the box build this, build that, give record long briefings, and keep up with ongoing procedural changes that are not explained at all. How do you guys like the new checklist btw?

So we would do this to achieve what? A sense of team work. ROFL... and still ROFL... Mr. McK needs to get a reality check. Is he seriously trying to build a corporate culture after the company has walked all over us for the last 5 years. just funny... After they have let us walk? How convenient. Did they not try to lie about our freshly signed contract and kill our transition language just recently?

I guess this guy did not get the memo yet. He needs to realize that this is a workplace where we, as pilots, only talk to maintenance, some FAs, most gate agents, when we have our copilot as witness. This is a place where many CAs keep all ACARS printouts about every communication. You know... just in case there is an NOI. This is a place that fires you first, then investigates.

I give this guy 6 months... hmmmm... make that 3... he is living in la la land...
