Agreed. We should wait until the transition arbitration is settled. If we win the arbitration we will have a HUGE hammer and won't need to make any concession, the company will be making concessions. If we lose, we try to make the best deal we can, but the contract language and explanations are clear enough that most reasonable people think that the pilots hold the winning hand. I think we should sit tight and wait for the results of the arbitration, unless the union has some reason to believe that it will lose. IOW, making any kind of concession now is nothing more than a tacit acknowledgement that the transition language is not as good as advertised.

You can't be serious! Or maybe you're an unattached person who isn't trying to make your schedule fit into your families life. If I had to predict my kids schedule and bid accordingly from ten weeks out, I'd miss most of their life. No thanks.

Besides, why give the company anything when we're so close to a huge win in arbitration?

Hey guys, can anyone get their hands on the closed base bid? It was supposed to be published Monday. I talked to the furlough union rep and he said get in touch with Lucy. I did that and she said it was posted. I can't find it anywhere. I think she got it confused with the Dec. monthly bid. It would be nice to plan ahead. Thanks.

Outed myself??? for what> possible wanting to know my sked two months out? It would be nice, for me, to bid around my family's activites vs. them around mine. Really Sky?? you only know what your kinder are doing a few weeks out.... having three myself I find that hard to believe????

I was not advocating that we give them something and agree with, "do not do anything until the ruling on transition is out."

It was just a rumor/thought/idea that RamRod brought up and was trying to figure how this could benifit us/me.... so no, I'm not embarrassed

Note to Gator: Sky has already ID'ed himself and so have I..... but I changed it 4U :-) but by your quote it is there with his name so....?????

Come on guys, quit with using names. If we know who each other are- fine. But if you want to use names, pick up the telephone.

Bored,
I think I've heard you mention you're last on the list...if that's true, you're ACY...as are the last 4.
