I don't know why anyone would leave here to go to Atlas, unless you just have to fly a heavy. I hope he will enjoy his 62hrs of pay a month and 1/3 DH pay. They hold everyone to it. The apple loses it shine quickly.

Older single guy who was furloughed World, he loved the lifestyle. I hear ya though, it sounds like my worst nightmare but to each their own

My wild guess would be they were FOs with a year or less on property. But one could hope!

So I'm counting 4 1/2 gates in ORD come October, is that correct? (Our current 2, plus the hard stand, plus the one you say were getting in Oct, plus the shared gate ( hence the 1/2)). If that's correct, it sounds like a very "Spirited" set up but much better than trying to cram 20 arrivals and 20 departures on to 2 gates and using the 32R pad as contingent overflow. Then again, I'm sure if we do get these gates, Spirit will try to expand to put 50 arrivals and 50 departures into them.

We have two current gates plus the hard stand starting in a few days. We will share also a gate with another airline. Not sure who and when we start that. But I am told in October it will become exclusively ours. We apparently make a killing in ORD so I can only assume us increasing frequencies or announcing new destinations.

I am told also the company sent the paperwork for the iPad and is now in the hands of the PMI. Don't expect this to be approved anytime soon. Maybe in a year or so. Not sure which iPad it will be but apparently expect 32G and wifi only.

I expect the Ipad when Jepesen quits making paper charts.
