Training was quite enjoyable and VERY different than anything id been through previously.
The training was very subtle. I studied quite a bit (something i was chided for), yet i continuously thought i wasn't learning. Yet, when it came time to demonstrate the information, WHAM! there it was. As it turns out, the training was excellent. They taught you exactly what you needed to pass the oral, type ride and make it through IOE, not how to build the Airbus.
For the military guys: i spent a lot of time memorizing ops limits/memory items (Boldface), rote memorization is not needed. The actions and steps are whats most important, not the exact words or punctuation.
Overall, I felt the training was top-notch and actually enjoyable.

Spirit training was 6 days a week through ground school, pretty long days. After ground school you move to FTDs and then the simulator. There were more days off during this time and the hours were shorter.

trying to discern if very recently mentioned uniform changes are only quality changes or different look/cut?
(underlying question is if its better to wait buying stuff until outside vendors change their style?)
