The whole "Eye of the Tiger Sale"/spoof is just downright tacky and disrespectful to Mrs. Woods and their two children. Their family life will NEVER be the same as a result of Tiger's poor judgment. Unfortunately, their children are the ones that will be affected by all this in the long run.
No matter how much money they have, or how famous their father may be, they will look at their father differently as they grow up. That's really sad. My heart goes out to Elin and their two kids. I don't wish Tiger any more pain than he has inflicted on those close to him...I hope he grows from this and becomes a better husband and father.
Its awful that our company CHOOSES to take joy in what must be a very difficult situation for the Woods family. I would rather win customers in a DIGNIFIED manner, based upon our merits, instead of the ways we are trying to get business. What say you?

Tiger Woods is the worlds most famous golfer, and one of the most recognizable sports figures in the world. In exchange for that recognition he is paid more money than the average person could ever dream of. He is a role model to many, and he knows it. I have no problem with Spirit's ad, I think its funny. If Mr. Woods does not wish for his children to be subject to any of this, perhaps he should have been faithful to his supermodel wife, and mother of his children.
As are $9 airplane tickets, but that's another topic.
But really, what would anyone expect? Spirit is the industry leader of "no shame in advertising"

I'll give you that figures like Tiger just have to accept the fact that they are going to get lit up when they have an incident like this. You could even say the same for his wife, as she knew full well whom she was getting married to. The kid(s); however, had no choice and certainly didn't sign up for this. Having a company try and make money off of what could be the public destruction of their family is, in my opinion, disgusting.

... as for the $9 fares, get over it!
...and just what is DL/NW the industry leader in...I recall some not so positive stories in the news recently.

I have NP with the ADD.
Tickets sale = You work = You get pay = Feed you wife and kids (almost)
Celebrities KNOW very well what happens when they do something stupid, Tiger is no exemption. Every media outlet will go after, so will Spirit Marketing.

RyanAir has done the same, and with lots of success. Remember that not everybody gets offended by such advertising. I would speculate that its a small minority. When I saw the Tiger add, I started laughing and texted some friends to check it out. They all loved it and said its hilarious!

Ok, have you even seen the ad? It has NOTHING to do with his kids, his wife, or his "lady friends". It simply mocks the fact that he drove an SUV into a fire hydrant across the street from his house at 2am. WHO CARES! I suppose you will be just as mad at SNL, because I am sure they are drawing up something on the topic as we speak. Not to mention the rest of the media, TMZ, E!, etc. You need to get off your high horse and relax a bit!

Those you referenced(SNL, TMZ , E) are all in the business of reporting on or making fun of celebrities. That's what they do. I just don't see what Tiger Woods wrecking his car and cheating on his wife has to do with Spirit ,or any other, airline.
Maybe the ad will be a huge success. I guess Spirit should be rollng in the dough, so good for them.
Me get over the $9 fares? Hey, it's your paycheck, so if you like 'em, great.
Lastly, I don't see what 2 crew's screw-ups have to do with intentionally sophomoric advertising.
